Dental hygiene is important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums and now you can book to see one of our Dental Hygienist’s directly, without the need to see a Dentist first.
At Street Lane Dental & Implant Clinic, we take preventative dental care extremely seriously. Our hygienists are here to help patients improve and maintain their oral health and treat gum disease where necessary.
Hygienists are able to perform a number of procedures including scaling and polishing, deep cleaning under local anaesthetic, stain removal, and the administration of fluoride.
Another key aspect of the dental hygienist’s role is to show patients how to look after their teeth and gums so they remain healthy and disease-free. This will include advising patients on the best techniques for brushing, flossing, and how to use interdental brushes.
Hygienists are also trained to spot any other problems with your teeth and gums and can arrange an appointment with one of our dentists if necessary.
